the day before new year's eve... i'm almost out of places to visit in singapore, haha. i refered to the guide book n decided to go some places tat seems interesting. but first, i tried the potato at AMK Hub tat ameline mentioned the nite b4. AMK Hub had some looney toons deco hanging around.

The potato was not bad, but i think i'll like it anyway, haha. After having the potato i headed to china town, again, haha, juz wanna hav a feel of wat it's like in day time...

Actually i was looking for tis hindu temple, it seems nice in the pictures, haha.

i walked around a little n saw tis sign, direct translation o_O

then i found my way to tis (supposed to be) famous temple

when i walk out of the temple, saw these trisaw in front of the china town plaza

I think tis was wat we're looking for the nite b4...

Then i tried to find my way to bugis, gonna meet irene n yap there for dinner, on my way saw tis nice building

It was still early when i reach Bugis, so i walked around for a while. Well, since i'm there, might as well go to the famous temple (again??)

When it was almost time to meet, irene sms me n say she's unwell, so it's juz me n yap for dinner tat nite. We meet up at bugis n walked to suntech city for our dinner. well, not purposely, juz din really had any idea wat to eat :-p We went to tis restaurant selling mainly japanese food, but the best part is, the drinks n ice cream (!) are free flow, there's coffee, juices n soft drinks to choose from, really worth it!

After dinner we walked around for a while. The fountain of wealth looks very different from day time.

I was bek in sg again~ i've got 2 days before new year eve, took me some time to decide where to go, finally i decided to go Daiso n see if i can grab some cheap stuff, hehe. I forgot which was the first Daiso tat i went (really too long ago), but after tat i went to vivo city, heard they had the largest christmas tree, n another daiso too :-p

Just as i reach there i went into the national geographic shop(?) n there's a lot on display

I like the pictures, they're really nice.

Then i went to the sky graden n saw the christmas tree, the stage in front of it was ppl doing rehersals, probably for the new year countdown.

I took a walk around, the last time i was there was during my cruise trip in 2007, tis is probably where we board the cruise

The sky garden really nice, a lot of children playing there.

After some shopping at Daiso i met Ameline for dinner. N after dinner with her we parted n I went to China Town to meet Ding n Joanne, according to them there's chinese new year stalls there, but when we reach there we din find any cny stalls, but the decoration for cny is already up!

Nonetheless we walked around for a while, n ate the soya ice cream, nice~

Well, the last day of our stay in KL, thinking wanna go sky bridge, since none of us ever went there b4. Heard needs to queue ther early to get the tickets, so we went KLCC around 730am. KLCC was empty of coz, n we tot the rumour wasnt true, but when we reach the counter, we were shocked O_o

Cant believe there's actually so many ppl trying to get the tickets. When it was finally our turn, we got the 130pm ticket, too bad for us, coz we already bought the 2pm ticket bek to sg. So we gav up the idea to go up to the sky bridge (i still kept the ticket in my wallet, haha)

Before we went bek to the hotel we did some shopping at Isetan. After we checked out the hotel we left our luggage at the hotel n had our lunch, while doing some last minute shopping. Tis mua chi i ate seems to be quite famous arounf there, not bad.

We reached Pudu around 2pm, n when we reach the counter they gav us a bad news, the bus broke down half way, so it wont be able to make it here. They gav us the option to exchange us the 4pm ticket, or refund, we choose the refund n try if we can get any earlier bus. But it was really a bad day for us, n finally, we still got a 4pm bus... anyway, it was the first time i was on a double decker bus.

All double decker bus stops outside of pudu. Well, after so many years, pudu is still a mess >_<"

When we finally reach larkin, the queue for the bus to sg was sooo long, n we were very hungry, so we decided to get dinner first. I ordered maggi goreng, which i missed so much, but, the maggi goreng there really taste terrible...

I think it was 11 something when i finally reached Ding's place, exshauted. Really, considered one of the most unlucky day of my life...

The next day we had my fav cheong fan for breakfast, tis really taste so nice! n the porridge taste good too!

After breakfast we're off to Ikano n The Curve!

We took LRT to the nearest station (forgot which station already), n waited for the bus, but after half an hour we gav up and took a cab to Ikano

The christmas deco there was quite nice

Then we went at Ikea, it was my first time there, i was quite impressed, hope we had one of it here at Kuching, but then, it probably wont servive here :-p

I like the measurement tape, hehe. Wonder how's the cactuses Irene bought from there, still alive? haha. After our visit at Ikea we went to The Curve

We din have much mood to shop there, so we moved on to 1 Utama for lunch

Very coincidently we met Pei Qi there, twice, really, wat type of luck is tat, haha. we walked around for a little n quickly decided the place to hav our lunch.

The lunch was not bad, n after lunch we continued our shopping. I snaped tis coz, i really din know tis was a brand!

Around 8 something we went bek to petaling street, thinking to continue shopping there. N while we are there, enjoy the nice drink as much as we can, haha. The soya bean n the air mata kuching are both very very nice!
