Soon it was Thursday, and after thursday it's the begining of my holiday~ (i tot it began when u step in the plane =p) woke up at 6am coz the meeting was scheduled at 830am, so we need to check out before tat, as we're officially off duty after 5pm (or earlier). And of coz, the most important thing to start the day would be - BREAKFAST!
i took some different food from yesterday, but after i sat down, i notice there's some corner at the other side tat i din pass by, so i walked near out of curiousity, and to my surprise, there's another food corner there, with japanese style breakfast, malay style breakfast (with nasi lemak) n chinese style breakfast (with porridge). But i din take any as i already taken quite a lot. Wow, i think i could spend whole moning here eating if i din hav to work, haha.

The meeting finished around 1230pm, we walked to Perangi Mall which is juz opposite of our customer site, komtar.
Wanted to shop a bit but it's really hard carrying our heavy laptop around, so we juz sat down to hav our lunch (still full though). We went into Wong Kok, and i ordered the "raw noodle", feels a bit like tomato mee in Kuching huh?
Our kolik pick us up around 3pm, I need to wait for Mooi to finish work n fetch me to her house, but with all my luggage it's impossible to go anywhere, so i juz went to the lodge Grace is staying and waited there. The lodge is really cheap, u can get it as low as RM25 without aircon tat is, it's really stuffed in there, but for RM25..... guess cant complain? I wont recommend it though. But the good thing about it is there's wireless available, so i juz chatted to kill time.

I almost immediately took my bath after i reach Mooi's place, well, tat is after some chat already, haha. After tat we went to meet the Gaik, Tin tin and Da jie for dinner. We had ikan bakar and tomyam, it's been so long since i had ikan bakar! but i still think the one we had at JB taste better. Was too hungry and forgot to take photo =p

We chatted for a while n head bek to their place, I need to finish some work n send out some emails before i begin shopping tomorrow. But frankly, wasnt really concentrating =p We were chatting and watching drama while gaik n i do our work, haha. Before going to bed mooi n i decideded to hav breakfast before she send me to the mall the next day, and we chatted even after we were lying in bed getting ready to sleep, really missed those times, we used to chat till morning when we were bek in Skudai, haha.

The first day of the meeting, and my first morning in penang, i remember seeing the sea when i open my eyes, wow, tis feels so good, haha. We purposely woke an hour earlier to eat our breakfast, hehe, knowing tat we should be expecting some good food, since the breakfast is included. And we were rite, hehe, waiting for us was a buffet breakfast, with a lot of choices, too bad i cant hav them all =p

The food is not bad, but I really liked the feeling, haha. Looking around us, other ppl juz hav a toast or two and left, can really feel tat we seldom hav breakfast at hotels, haha.

After that we were off to the meeting, the meeting went well and it ended quite early, we were bek at the hotel before 5. After a short break in our room we decided to take a walk around and see wat facility they hav. The 7th floor is the recreation area, I was amazed when i see the pool, too bad i din bring my swim suit >_<"

We werent planning to swim, somemore we're having dinner with my fren later, so after a while we went bek to our room n take our bath. Kim Meng pick us up around 7.

We went to Northem Beach Food Court to meet the others, there was Ling, Sun and KK, Alvin, Shuang, Chao and Chuan Hooi came late. We ordered a lot of food, and manage to finish them all, haha. Nice food, nice frens, nice chat, hmmmm... really makes me miss the old days so much. Thanks everyone, u guys are the best.

Can u guess wat the welcoming drinks are? orange juice, haha, i was expecting some liquor =p They hav live band performance, but I dunno if it's too early, the bar is quite empty. At around 1130 we went bek to our room, nid to wake up at 6 the next day, cant waste the breakfast, hehe.

It's been over a week since i updated my blog, din really hav the time when i was in penang, spent all my time eating, shopping n sleeping, haha. Even if I was free at nite, i'd chat with my frens, juz seems a waste to spend time blogging =p and after i came bek i nid time to finalize my work, so din blog too...

Anyway, i'll try my best to catch up on things. So first let's start with last Tuesday, where my journey began, hehe.
Went to the airport around 10am and meet up with Grace to check in together, the airport was not very crowded, we walk around a bit after we check in, and I finally see my favourite McD desert centre, currently the only one in Kuching. I was all excited when i hear about Kuching finally having a McD desert centre, coz it's the onli place u can get my favourite flavour twist (green apple, yummy~). But I was a bit shock when i see the price, the flavour twist cost RM2.8!! Har? I remember buying it for RM1.5 when i was in KK last time.... hmmmm.... (later i checked again at penang, onli cost RM1.95 at the shopping malls)

Anyway, tis is the first time i fly with MAS since i graduated, the nite before i was saying to myself, no more 737 please~ coz ever since i can remember i was always flying with 737, as i usually travel to JB and they dont use any planes other than 737 there.

This time I'm gonna transit at KLIA before flying to Penang, but honestly i wasnt giving it much hope... but when I board the plane i was like O_o

Finally I'm on an air bus!! and i completely din notice it until i step into the plane. This is really different from 737, after flying with an air bus, really feel tat 737 is... lame =p I really enjoyed the ride, hehe.

I havent been in KLIA for quite some time, i think the last time i was here was during my graduation trip. Well, KLIA is still busy and huge like i remembered, haha. It actually took us around 20 minutes juz to walk to the other bording area.

and during our walk i saw the drinking water corner, it's quite interesting, u need to push the button in front for the water to come out.
The plane to Penang is the lame 737 again >_<

After we reach Penang we took a cab to our hotel, the first thing the taxi driver asked me was, "are you japanese?" haha, i take tat as a compliment? =p

Initially my colleage from penang was suppose to pick us up and hav a discussion with us about the meeting the next day, but he was caught up in a meeting, so i gav him a call as soon as we landed at Penang, he reached our hotel even before we finish checking in, so we juz left our thing in the room, and went out with him almost immediately. He brought us to the gurney plazza which was not very far off. We sat at starbucks there and discussed for a while, and after tat we took a walk around to wait for him to finish his job and send us bek to the hotel.
Wasnt really in the mood to shop, so we juz did some window shopping, and at the lower groud floor, we saw tis cafe (?) which really has a nice design, i would guess tat a cafe like tis would be selling western food, but to our surprise the cafe doesnt, ermm... if i din remember wrongly, tis cafe sells taiwan food, doesnt really match the feel huh? =p
I think it was almost 7 when he sent us bek to the hotel, we were really tired, and went straight into our room
and finally we can enjoy our 4-star hotel, haha. I have to say tat i feel the room i stayed in RH Hotel, Sibu last time was slightly better, i guess one of the reason would be RH is a new building, so the design is more modern, but then, tis room is not bad too, hehe.


and most importantly, our room is on the 27th floor, where we can see gurney drive and the sea, the view is great! imagine waking up to see the sea in the morning, it's juz soooo nice~
But we din really hav a lot of time to enjoy the room yet, haha, coz mooi n gaik is going to pick us up for dinner soon, so we rush to take our bath and waited for them to reach. Since it's our first nite in Penang, we choose to have some local food, so we went to the gurney hawker centre near our hotel.

The place is flooded with ppl! but we din wait too long for our food. After our dinner we went to the beach side (?) juz opposite the hawker centre for a walk there, and we chatted whole nite till it's almost 12am, haha.

Going Penang tomorrow!! hehe. Cant wait to see everyone, miss them so much. But I haven really arrange anything yet, guess we'll juz wait n see wat happens. Let everything be spontanious, haha.

This morning i woke up 9 sumthing, to go to the opening of HuiMei's new shop, a big congratz to her! ohya, she's opening a bakery ingredient shop at MJC, anyone wanna buy bakery ingredient contact her ya.

Around 1130am i was already hungry >_< initially i was thinking of going cilipadi for roti cheese, suddenly miss it so much =p but wee called and say she wanna hav lunch with us, so we decided to go Chicago 7 instead.

This is actually the first time I'm here, there's quite a variety of food available, but then, i think i still like KFC better, haha. We waited n waited for wee, which arrived around 130pm. We chatted there till about 3pm.

The weather was not so good today, but I went for jogging anyway. But feels like not much ppl there at the stutong park, and it's actually a bit scary when walking alone in the forest-like path. Well, n i had an unpleasent surprise >_<"

Anyway, as usual, I din pack yet =p juz settle it tomorrow nite, haha, but suddenly feel wanna hav roti tomorrow... hmmmmm.... no supper.... n going to penang already.... no supper.... hahaha, trying to convince myself =p see how lor, juz think about it tomorrow lar, nitez~

Saturday morning (?) i slept till 12 sumthing, almost miss my facial appointment again >_< Then after my facial session i went to spring with LingYee

We ate and chatted there, n tentatively decided to sing k tat nite. But later in the nite when we reach pop wave the place is already full, onli big rooms available. Since we dun hav so many ppl, we juz went for tea instead. We headed home before 12, n amazingly i was really sleepy last nite, i lay in bed to blog, n fell asleep after publishing my first post, lolz

Friday nite is, well, VA nite? haha. But i guess the main reason was for the holloween party? Anyway, i did tot of going early to enjoy the drinks, but gav up the idea coz dun wanna drive there alone. We reach there arounf 8pm, and there's so many ppl there! All the ladies are queing up at the bar, such a sight, haha. In the end I onli manage to get 3 drink, ermmmm... not much feel, haha.

Well, we din stay long at VA tat nite, around 10pm we went to lok lok for sumthing to eat, n after tat, cracking our heads thinking of where to go, we went to CORE, which was also celebrating holloween tat nite.

we sat outside of coz, well, it's almost impossible to hav a seat inside at times like tis. The place is quite creepy, they hav "blood stains" everywhere, and the waiters wore mask. But most importanly the music is great, too bad i'm not inside >_<>_<" i do hope they would go n catch some theif or burgler, i think the society would appreciate it more tat way, rite =p
